Capital Area Soccer Referees Association, Inc. (CASRA) is an organization of USSF-certified and MPSSAA-registered referees serving the officiating needs of premier youth travel leagues (WAGS and NCSL), competitive youth leagues (BBSL), rec leagues, and public and private high schools principally in Montgomery, Prince Georges, Anne Arundel, Howard, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's Counties. CASRA is the premier referee association for tournaments in Maryland, including all of the major tournaments at the Maryland SoccerPlex and Covenant Park (Columbia area). CASRA also assigns Futsal games at the Maryland SportsPlex (Millersville) and other locations.

CASRA's goal is "excellence in soccer officiating." CASRA's purpose is to promote the interests of soccer referees by assigning them to competitive and well-paying games and providing mentoring and other support. CASRA has a new college scholarship program for younger referees who devote themselves to refereeing for CASRA. CASRA serves its clients by responding to their neeeds and by assigning to their games officials who are trained, independent, impartial, and responsible.

CASRA HAS GAMES FOR YOU. Please contact our assignors for games. Please click here to send your email address to CASRA in order to enroll in CASRA’s Web-based assignment system provided by TheArbiter.Net™. You will receive a personal log-on password to the System and instructions. The system will permit you to see all the matches available and to submit your availability. You will also find directions to fields, including through Mapquest™.

NO MEMBERSHIP FEES. CASRA charges its administrative fee directly to the client. You receive the full amount displayed with your games in Arbiter. CASRA also pays cash at the field at all tournaments. All league referee fees are paid three times a season.

CASRA will assist you in finding games to officiate at your level of expertise, in improving your skills and in progressing to higher referee grades and more competitive games.

SPECIAL NOTICES: Referees must report all Red Cards and other serious incidents (such as injuries, crowd problems, etc.) to the Leagues and the CASRA Assignor for the game. USSF games involving red cards (other than for language) or serious incidents must be reported on the USSF Report Form to the Maryland State Referee Administrator.
